Statement
My colorful paintings are both reflective of my environment, culture, family and ancestral storytelling. My colorful stories, cultural background, and life experiences have greatly influenced her work. Using paint, vivid characters with powerful colors, I encourages the viewer to dream and create their own stories from the paintings.. As an alternative to the general title of artist, I prefers the term “colourist”, which reflects her mystical command of the color spectrum in my work. My paintings reveal the “colorful” lives of each character in every stroke of paint, allowing the viewer to breathe life into the painting from their imagination and life experiences.
